Grab a partner, grab a racquet, and join us for the return of the Sardis Summer Slam on Sunday, June 14th, at 4:00 PM.

In this mixed doubles event, we’ll once again divide into teams for an epic showdown between the Wimbledon Whites and the US Open Brights. You’ll receive your team assignment after registering, and plan to dress accordingly: prim and proper whites, splashy and neon brights — or you could always go full Agassi and rock jorts.

Event Details

• RSVP is required. Tickets can be purchased for $10 per person.
• This event is for members only.
• Play is suitable for advanced beginner and above.
• As a mixed event, both men and women are invited to participate, though your partner can be anyone you choose. Note that we may mix up partnerships for a few rounds just to keep everyone on their toes!
• No partner? No problem! Sign up solo, and we’ll make sure the numbers even out.
• Please arrive on time. Tennis play will begin shortly after 4pm (we’ll just give a quick welcome to kick things off before sending players out to the courts). Players may arrive as early as 3:30pm to warm up.
• Players can expect to play three (30-min) rounds of doubles and one (30-min) break, assuming the weather cooperates and all our courts stay dry. We will have a Plan B in case some of our courts are unplayable and we need to combine courts.
• After play concludes, stick around for prizes, heavy bites, and signature event beverages — Pimm’s Cups and Honey Deuces for all! We’ll wrap things up by 8pm after determining which team reigns supreme.
• If the weather does us dirty and we cannot play, we’ll move the fun inside to the Sardis Clubhouse for bites, bevvies, and conversation.
